3D printing materials

We print in 24 filaments, from everyday PLA to engineering plastics reinforced with carbon fibre. Pick a family to see what each filament is good for, how they compare on detail, strength and heat, and the colours we print them in.

PLA

Easy Display Models

  • PLA (Basic)

Our everyday material: smooth, slightly glossy, crisp detail and the lowest price.

  • PLA - Matte

Basic PLA with a flat, non-shiny finish that hides layer lines.

  • PLA - Galaxy

Deep colours with shimmering flecks, like a starry night sky.

  • PLA - Marble

A speckled, stone-like finish that looks like real marble.

  • PLA - Metal

A metallic finish that looks like real metal, no paint needed.

  • PLA - Sparkle

Glitter flecks through the plastic for a sparkly, granite-like look.

  • PLA - Tough

Toughened PLA that bends before it breaks: for clips, brackets and knocks.

  • PLA - Wood

Real wood fibres for a natural, matte, wood-like look.

  • PLA Silk/Silk+

High-shine, metallic-look sheen for decorative pieces.

  • PLA - Glow

Glows in the dark after charging in daylight or lamp light.

  • PLA - Aero

Lightweight foaming PLA for RC planes and light props.

  • PLA-CF - Standard

Carbon-fibre filled PLA: stiff, with a technical matte look.

PETG

Tough & Functional

  • PETG - HF

Tough, water-resistant and copes with more heat than PLA: great for functional parts.

  • PETG - Translucent

See-through PETG for lamp shades, light diffusers and cases.

  • PCTG - Standard

An extra-tough PETG relative that shrugs off drops and knocks.

  • PETG-CF - Standard

Carbon-fibre PETG: stiff, tough and matte.
